a elementary theme. i really liked the mock up by harvey cabaguio with the dark mutter theme. so i tried to do it, it still lacks a lot of stuff i've made but it has bugs , so this is like a preview.

I am using original gnome-terminal and it won't match the dark theme... which gets me curious, how did you make certain applications choose the dark theme instead of the normal one?

the apps must ask for a dark theme. gnome-terminal doesn't ask for dark theme while pantheon-terminal does. eog asks for dark theme and so the movie player...

I see. It's not that I don't like pantheon terminal, it just needs a lot more features... Not being able to define colors actually bothers me quite a bit...

one way is to download ubuntu tweak from internet, just google it, once you installed it extract the zip you downloaded from here to the folder ./home/(your-user-name)/.themes

once you finished that launch ubuntu tweak from the applications menu and you can change the theme from there. To change the window border you will have to install dconf-tools. open up the terminal and paste this line sudo apt-get install dconf-tools* once it finishes launch it from the apps menu and navigate trough org.pantheon.desktop.gala.appearance on the theme box type harvey and then claick enter and your done. i wish it was easier.
