On arch linux with gnome 3.12.2 the close, minimize, and maximize buttons do not display at all...aka they're invisible.

This theme is incredible, but I'm having an issue with Wingpanel. There is white text on an off-white background and it is difficult to see/read things.

I'm on Arch Linux, and the newer versions of Wingpanel have not been ported over, so the version I'm running is still Luna. Aside from wingpanel, all other applications I have installed are from freya and work fantastically.

the problem here is wingpanel cause the new one doesn't take the color form the css file as the wingpanel version you have. the problem can be solved if you change the color value of the fonts in the theme file apps.css in the panel section.

Well - if I may.
Please remember that I'm giving instructions where a simply typo could mean you'll have to reinstall your system. I hope this is your testing ground.

I'm expecting you to:
* Have ubuntu-gnome installed.
* Have downloaded XGTK in your $HOME/Downloads directory.
* Are logged in to a gnome-shell session (you do that in the login manager - select the session, then log in)

I suggest you, if you haven't:
sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool gnome-shell-extensions unzip

You then have to:
open terminal
cd $HOME/Downloads
sudo cp -r XGTK /usr/share/themes
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences theme XGTK
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme XGTK

you are done.

You might want to relog once. Use the gnome-tweak-tool to change icon theme, fonts, ... whatever you like and I believe you can enable the gnome-shell themes extension (I'm using elementars os, so I don't remember :D) to apply styles to the whole of the shell (that black stuff all around).

kxmylo Awesome work. Can you please ship styles of apps that don't have GtkHeaderBars? Like Metacity, mutter or unity decorations?
