Just I few bugs I've found:

- Selected text has no highlight in most toolbar entries (GTK+3)
- Scratch's buttons don't get the style
- Non-GTK+3 apps (like Firefox, Skype, LibreOffice) have a glitched window title

Thanks for the great theme!

Same here, I fixed some(with my very little knowledge) of it and and cleaned out some bad coding (that cause GTK warnings and errors).
I put up a repo on GitHub.
Fork and add a pull request if you are able to fix any more problems.

And if I get time, I'll make the src rpms and put it up on a Copr too(if that's any help to you or it will be just me)...

the 3.12 or higher works perfect on 3.14.2 on Arch Linux but 3.14 has messed up window buttons on gnome applications and some weird glitches.

that's because you need to move them to the left. use dconf to do so

Sorry,I don't mean that. Now when the button on the right side, this theme can not work effectively. I mean even the buttons on the right side, this theme can also work effectively, I think you can do it, Thanks!

# This should take care of gnome-shell, some gtk2/3, elementary os luna/freya:
# If it SHOULD say on one of them that the key isn't there or doesn't exist - don't mind that.
# type in terminal - line for line

gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon-plugins.xsettings overrides "{'Gtk/DecorationLayout':<'close,minimize,maximize:'>}"

gsettings set org.pantheon.desktop.gala.appearance button-layout  'close,minimize,maximize:'

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout  'close,minimize,maximize:'

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.overrides button-layout  'close,minimize,maximize:'

# should be visible on most windows right away - log out and back in or reboot to make sure.

you better install the 14.10 version which is the latest. then in a terminal paste the following commands:
(press enter after each line and type your password when asked. sometimes you will need to type "y" to continue, it will ask you y/n)

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo add-apt-respository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
sudo add-apt-respository ppa:ricotz/testing
sudo add-apt-respository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

then restart your computer
Download this theme and extract the zip into the following folder: .local/share/themes
(if the theme folder doesn't exists, create it.)
in Activies overview search for Tweak Tool, open it
look for the theme and select it in Tweak Tool.

hello,
love the theme but i really dislike how when you fullscreen a window the top bar goes white. Any way to modify the theme so it stays black?
Also the slingshot app launcher has some weird black borders around the icons I'd love to get rid of.
Using freya BTW.
Thanks!

Hi, great work !
I don't know if the slingshot menu (elementary OS freya) is really as you would it to be. Seems strange to me

The border of applications that use CSD looks great (you can't see the borders like on MacOSX of Ubuntu 14.10), but for non CSD applications (e.g. terminal), the border is still there. BTW, what terminal are you using on your screenshot?

Thanks for sharing your work...It's really impressive and well done.
The only issue I have so far is with Nautilus (Files), the left panel is 100% transparent when focused and doesn't look good as your. Also, the tabs on Files are 100% transparent. It might be my distro (Ubuntu with Gnome 3.14).

you need to open dconf-editor and then follow this path:
org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings
on overrides paste this: {'Gtk/DecorationLayout': <'close,minimize,maximize:menu'>}

I don't know whta gtk version is using freya, but you can try the xgtk 3.14 version and see how it goes. i've just updated it so you'll find a download link.

The 3.14 one works rather well on elementary os freya beta 1 (today).

Slingshot could be a tad nicer and my upgraded geary (daily version) has a very dark sidebar, but everything else seems to be really well done.

gtk 3.14 works well for me (elementary os freya beta 1) but the top bar is almost white if there's maximized window.

for me it is fine if the top bar is white unless if the text and icons are black :D
