Yes, as I just said, it will not function in either /.themes (which I have never been able to use for other themes anyway) or in /usr/share/themes. The GTK+ theme works, it's just the metacity theme that it won't recognize.
elementary window manager/decorator is gala not metacity so you have to set the window button from dconf-tool. to set the window buttons navigate to org.pantheon.desktop.gala.appearance and in the THEME box type elementary-light
I have the beta version of Elementary OS, once I downloaded the theme on usr/share/themes I select with dconf-editor? There are pantheon plugins for this ? Fantastic dark theme, you can have it? Thanks.
once you downloaded it unzip it and paste the folder "elementary-light" into the folder ./themes that's in your home folder. (to see hide folders ctrl+h) now if you use gnome-tweak you can set the gtk theme from there. to set the window buttons navigate to org.pantheon.desktop.gala.appearance and in the THEME box type elementary-light
yeah because calc. is so important? stupid linux guys! valuing nonsense things, ask him about the wallpapers collection. stupid! Have fun ?!? Expect great things to get great things (think big or go home)!!!
We linux guys actually care about how our desktops look. The calc important? Hell no But I do want one that looks sexy not the frakking ugly default calculator that all the other os's have. As for feeding a troll Mother forgive me.
